India lodged a “strong protest” with the United States after three Indian sailors were killed in a U.S. strike on the Palau-flagged M/T Settebello in the Gulf of Oman. U.S. forces also disabled two other tankers this week as part of a naval blockade linked to Iran.

A massive truck fire on Interstate Highway 95 in northeast Philadelphia has caused a portion of the highway to collapse, leading to its closure. The fire is believed to have been caused by a tanker truck, and has caused explosions underground due to runoff from fuel or gas lines. The closure of I-95 is expected to cause significant disruption to travel in the Northeast, and the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management is urging drivers to seek alternate routes.
