On Monday, 18-year-old Beau Wilson went on a 10-minute shooting rampage in Farmington, New Mexico, killing three elderly women and wounding six other people, including two officers. Police body camera footage released Thursday showed the chaotic confrontation between officers and the gunman, who had an AR-15 rifle and two handguns. Farmington Police Chief Steve Hebbe praised the officers' "incredible courage and bravery" and "heroic actions" in the face of danger. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Police in Farmington, New Mexico have identified 18-year-old Beau Wilson as the gunman responsible for the shooting rampage that left three people dead and six others wounded. Witnesses reported that Wilson was randomly firing shots as he walked through the neighborhood, and he was fatally shot by responding officers. All three of the victims were elderly women, two in their 70s and one at least 90 years old. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and the community of Farmington is in mourning.

The pair were found guilty in 2021 of paying bribes to get their kids into elite universities as part of the “Operation Varsity Blues” scandal. The appeals court ruling is a major victory for the two parents, and could have implications for other parents who were charged in the scandal.
