On Thanksgiving morning, a devastating fire swept through two mobile homes in Athens County, Ohio, leaving five people dead. Richland Area volunteer firefighters were called to the scene and found two mobile homes ablaze and an outbuilding damaged, with one of the homes having a collapsed roof. One person was able to escape the fire and was taken to a local hospital with injuries, while the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Ohio Department of Commerce.
