Legendary NFL coach and Hall of Famer Bud Grant has passed away at the age of 95. He was the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 1967 to 1983 and 1985, leading them to four Super Bowls in eight years. He was part of a decorated group of coaches of his era and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994. Grant was born in Superior, Wisconsin and attended the University of Minnesota, playing two sports. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and their four children.

Tacoma Police Department has arrested 53-year-old Shawn Kemp, a six-time NBA All-Star and Seattle Supersonics legend, in connection with a drive-by shooting near the Tacoma Mall. Richards Bay Football Club in South Africa is mourning the loss of one of its players, Siphamandla "Spepe" Mtolo, who collapsed during a morning training session on Tuesday.
