Prominent Colorado plastic surgeon Geoffrey Kim was found guilty of attempted manslaughter in the death of 18-year-old Emmalyn Nguyen on Wednesday. Kim attempted CPR on Nguyen but later admitted he did not call 911 for help for approximately five hours. Kim was found guilty of attempted reckless manslaughter and obstruction of telephone service and faces up to three years in prison when he is sentenced on September 8. Nguyen's family has also filed a civil lawsuit against Kim and the medical facility.
