Deportation Error Sparks Legal Battle as Maryland Resident Fights for Return from El Salvador

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a protected legal resident originally from El Salvador, was deported from Maryland to El Salvador on March 15 due to what the Trump administration described as an “administrative error.” This development has led to legal proceedings, with a federal judge scheduled to hear the case on Friday.
