San Antonio, TX – On Thursday, January 3, San Antonio Police Department announced the arrest of a father and son in connection with the murder of pregnant teen Savanah Soto, 18, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, 22.

Christopher Preciado, 19, was charged with capital murder, while his father, 53-year-old Ramon Preciado, was charged with abuse of a corpse for allegedly helping to move the bodies of the victims.

Savanah Soto and Matthew Guerra were reported missing in late December before they were found dead in Guerra’s car several days later. Police believe Christopher Preciado was responsible for the shooting deaths of the couple.

Ramon Preciado is accused of helping his son move the bodies after the killings. A conviction for capital murder is punishable by the death penalty or life imprisonment.

San Antonio Police Department also said more charges are pending, possibly relating to the death of the unborn child.
