Atwell told ET’s Nischelle Turner that the sequence was so physically demanding that she eventually got adrenal fatigue. She also praised Cruise for his work ethic and technical understanding of filmmaking, saying that he was “very attentive” and knew what she needed when she was “slumped in a corner” looking tired.

Atwell also spoke to CBS Mornings about her experience working with Cruise, who plays protagonist Ethan Hunt and performs his own stunts in the series. She described him as “gracious and polite to everyone” and said it was a “masterclass” in work ethic.
