On May 26, Alicia Moore, 24, parked her car in a parking lot outside a Dillard’s department store at Oviedo Mall, according to an arrest report filed by the Oviedo Police Department. Security saw Moore and an unidentified man allegedly shoplifting inside the store, and the car was left with the two children inside for about an hour.

The car caught fire and the two children were taken to a local hospital with burns. One of the children had first-degree burns. Moore was arrested and is facing charges of aggravated child neglect and arson.
