A tragic accident on Folly Beach, South Carolina, has claimed the life of a bride on her wedding day. According to official documents, Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, was driving her rental car at 65 miles per hour in a 25-mile-per-hour zone when she slammed into a golf cart carrying the bride. Komoroski was arrested and charged with one count of reckless homicide and three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm.

A toxicology report released by the forensic laboratory at South Carolina’s State Law Enforcement Division shows that Komoroski had a blood alcohol content of 0.261%, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08. Photos of the rental car Komoroski was driving were also released.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on April 28. Komoroski allegedly told police she “did nothing wrong.”

The Folly Beach Department of Public Safety is continuing to investigate the incident. No further information has been released at this time.
