Grants Pass Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for Benjamin Obadiah Foster, a 36-year-old man accused of brutally beating and kidnapping a woman in Oregon. The woman remains in critical condition.

Foster is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder, kidnapping and assault. On Thursday night, police, sheriff’s deputies, an Oregon State Police SWAT team and federal agents raided a property in the unincorporated community of Wolf Creek, some 20 miles north of Grants Pass, where they seized Foster’s car and arrested a 68-year-old woman for hindering prosecution.

The Grants Pass Police Department has warned that Foster may be using dating apps to find potential new victims or manipulate them into helping him escape. Foster has a history of holding women captive, having been convicted in Nevada of keeping another woman in captivity.

They are asking anyone who may have seen Foster or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Grants Pass Police Department at 541-450-6260.
