At least three people have been killed and four injured in a shooting in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, the city’s fire department said Saturday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call for help at 2:35 a.m. on a residential street northwest of downtown, a spokesperson said. Responders found three people dead and two injured, which were taken to a hospital.

CNN affiliate KCAL reported that the shooting occurred just outside of Beverly Hills in the Beverly Crest community. Police said the first call came in about an “assault with a deadly weapon.”

The four victims, including three men and one woman, were transported to a hospital and are all in critical condition. Two others took themselves to a hospital, the spokesperson said. Three victims were shot inside a car and other four while standing outside a home.

This is the fourth mass shooting in California in the past week. Police are still investigating the incident and have yet to identify any suspects. No further information is available at this time.
