Irvin Cartagena, also known as "Green Eyes," pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin, fentanyl, and fentanyl analogue in relation to the overdose death of actor Michael K. Williams. Cartagena faces a minimum of five years in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on August 3, 2022. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York has warned those who seek to profit from the distribution of deadly drugs and urged anyone struggling with addiction to seek help.

Brian Walshe has been indicted on charges of murder, misleading a police investigation/obstruction of justice and improper conveyance of a human body in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Ana Walshe. If convicted of first-degree murder, Walshe faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole.
