University of Arizona Police and Local Authorities Search for Suspected Kidnapper After Abduction Attempts Near Campus

University of Arizona police and local authorities are searching for a potential kidnapper after at least two students were accosted near the campus this month. The suspect has been linked to a dark blue, four-door car, possibly an early 2000s Toyota Camry or Corolla with a fading Arizona license plate. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect to contact the University of Arizona Police Department or the Tucson Police Department.

On Saturday afternoon, a group of up to 50 masked robbers descended on the Nordstrom store at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills, California, armed with bear spray and stealing an estimated $60,000 to $100,000 worth of luxury items. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the incident and asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
