A couple from Florida has been arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child after their 18-month-old daughter was left in their car overnight. The parents, Joel and Jazmine Rondon, had attended a Fourth of July party with their three children and allegedly left the 18-month-old in the car when they got home. Sheriff Grady Judd said the incident was particularly tragic due to the extreme heat. The Rondons are currently being held in the Polk County Jail and the investigation is ongoing.

Two small planes collided midair over a central Florida lake on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the deaths of four people. First responders rushed to the scene and found one plane 21 feet below the surface and another partly submerged. The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them as the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
