Dallas Police Arrest 24-Year-Old in Connection with Stolen Emperor Tamarin Monkeys from Dallas Zoo

Dallas Police Department have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the disappearance of two emperor tamarin monkeys from the Dallas Zoo. Tips from the public led investigators to the Dallas Aquarium, where the suspect was spotted near animal exhibits. The two monkeys were found in the closet of an empty home in nearby Lancaster and the suspect has been charged with six counts of animal cruelty.

Two emperor tamarin monkeys were found safe in an abandoned home in Lancaster, Texas, after going missing from the Dallas Zoo the day before. Police received a tip that led them to the location, and the zoo has increased security measures to investigate the series of suspicious incidents, including the escape of a small leopard, the suspicious death of an endangered vulture, and the cutting of fences. No arrests have been made yet, and the zoo is asking anyone with information to contact the authorities.

Dallas Police, with the help of the Lancaster Police Department, have located the two missing emperor tamarin monkeys from the Dallas Zoo. The animals were found in the closet of an empty home in Lancaster, south of Dallas, and were returned to the zoo. The Dallas Police Department thanked the public for their help in locating the animals.
