17-Year-Old Student Arrested and Charged with Felony Aggravated Battery After Attacking School Employee

A 17-year-old student from Matanzas High School in Florida has been arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery with bodily harm after a video showed him attacking a school employee. The student reportedly became upset after the employee took away his Nintendo Switch device and threatened to "beat her up" every time she took away his game. Surveillance footage of the incident showed the student pummeling the employee, leaving her unconscious.
