In response, Steve Bannon has called for a war against Fox News, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has distanced himself from Trump's claims, labeling any district attorney backed by George Soros as a "menace to society" and refusing to get involved in any "manufactured circus" by Soros. DeSantis also denied any knowledge of hush money payments.
