The FDA has classified a recall of some Utz Zapp’s and Dirty potato chips as Class 1, its highest risk level, over possible salmonella contamination. Utz says no salmonella has been found in its products and no illnesses have been reported.

General Mills has issued a nationwide recall of its Gold Medal Unbleached and Bleached All Purpose Flour due to the presence of salmonella. The recall affects 2-, 5- and 10-pound bags with a “better if used by” date of March 27 and 28, 2024. Consumers are advised to discard the affected flour or return it to the store for a refund. Products made with the recalled flour can be consumed if cooked to a temperature of 160°F (71°C).
