A collision between a 30-foot boat and a ferry near Dodge Island resulted in the death of one man and the hospitalization of two others, prompting the U.S. Coast Guard to close PortMiami for 11 hours. Cruise line arrivals were disrupted as a result, but the port reopened around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
