Johanna Furtado is suing Peloton after her son, Ryan, was killed while using their exercise bike. The episode follows the character Marge Simpson as she rides a Peloton-style bike with an instructor whose backdrop is the Great Wall of China and mentions “forced labor camps where children make smartphones”. The removal of the episode has raised concerns about censorship due to the country’s new national security law.
