Three Colorado high school students have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Alexa Bartell. The suspects, Joseph Koenig, Nicholas "Mitch" Karol-Chik and Zachary Kwak, are facing multiple counts of assault, attempted murder and first-degree murder with extreme indifference. The charges stem from an incident on April 19 when the suspects allegedly threw a large landscaping rock at Bartell's car, killing her. The suspects are currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail and are awaiting trial.

Three Colorado teens have been charged with first-degree murder with extreme indifference in the death of 20-year-old Alexa Bartell. The incident occurred on April 19th when the teens allegedly threw rocks and other objects at cars, one of which went through Bartell's windshield, killing her. The teens have been identified and are currently being held in the Jefferson County jail awaiting trial, as the investigation is ongoing.
