Devastation in Selma, Alabama as Powerful Tornado Leaves Multiple Dead and Dozens of Homes Destroyed

On Thursday, a powerful tornado ripped through Selma, Alabama, leaving multiple people dead and dozens of homes destroyed. The National Weather Service issued a warning for a “large and extremely dangerous tornado”, and Autauga County Coroner Buster Barber confirmed that “more than four” people lost their lives. Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a warehouse, and crews are currently focused on cutting through downed trees to look for people who may be injured. The community is in mourning for those who lost their lives due to the devastating storm.
