Unearthing a 1,600-Year-Old Cemetery, Archaeologists Make Remarkable Discovery in Leeds, England

Archaeologists have made a remarkable discovery in Leeds, England, unearthing a 1,600-year-old cemetery that bridges the gap between the ancient and medieval periods. The remains of 62 people were found, including a late-Roman aristocratic woman found in a lead coffin, offering a rare glimpse into life in Britain during the decline of the Roman empire and the establishment of Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. The cemetery is being preserved and the remains of the deceased will be reburied in accordance with the wishes of their descendants, with Leeds City Council committed to ensuring that the remains are treated with respect and dignity.

Judge Rules ‘Access Hollywood’ Tape and Testimony from Trump Accusers Can Be Used in Defamation Case Against Former President Donald Trump

A federal judge has ruled that the "Access Hollywood" tape featuring former President Donald Trump bragging about being able to grope women without their consent can be used as evidence in a defamation case brought against him by writer E. Jean Carroll. The ruling also allows for testimony from two women who allege they were sexually assaulted by Trump, and the trial is set to begin in October. Trump has denied these allegations and his lawyers had requested that the judge block the accusers from testifying at trial, as well as the Access Hollywood tape from being played at the trial, but the judge rejected these requests.
