Joey Chestnut, nicknamed "Jaws", won the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest for the 16th time, consuming 62 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. The National Weather Service issued a warning for a “large and extremely dangerous tornado”, and Autauga County Coroner Buster Barber confirmed that “more than four” people lost their lives. Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a warehouse, and crews are currently focused on cutting through downed trees to look for people who may be injured.
