The Kansas City Chiefs have won their second Super Bowl in four years, with Patrick Mahomes taking home the MVP title. Mahomes had a key role in the comeback, despite going into halftime trailing, and had a 26-yard run on a gimpy ankle just before the winning field goal. Despite suffering an ankle injury earlier in the playoffs, Mahomes said there was nothing that could have kept him off the field, and he made good on that promise.

Chiefs Secure Super Bowl LVII Berth with Thrilling 23-20 Victory Over Bengals in AFC Championship Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to Super Bowl LVII after a thrilling 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game. The game-winning kick was set up by a 15-yard penalty on the Bengals' Joseph Ossai for shoving Patrick Mahomes after he was out of bounds. Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain last week, was able to lead the team to a victory and will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, the first matchup of Black starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl.
