Peabo Bryson, the two-time Grammy-winning singer known for Disney duets including “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World,” has died at 75. His family said he died Tuesday after suffering a stroke and receiving medical care.

Viola Davis has become the third Black woman in history to achieve the grand slam of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award. On Sunday, she won her first Grammy for her performance of the audiobook for her memoir, “Finding Me,” and gave an emotional acceptance speech honoring her 6-year-old self. Davis is the fourth Black person to achieve the status, alongside Whoopi Goldberg, John Legend and Jennifer Hudson.
