Former Southern California Street Gang Leader Pleads Not Guilty to Tupac Shakur Murder After 22 Years of Mystery

Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis, a former Southern California street gang leader, pleaded not guilty to murder in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas. The charge was prompted by Davis' own descriptions of orchestrating the drive-by shooting, which was allegedly in retaliation for a brawl involving Shakur and Davis' nephew. Davis is currently being held without bail and is due back in court on August 5th.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy Discusses 2024 Presidential Election and Increased US Military Presence in the Middle East

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) spoke on NBC's "Meet The Press" about why he has not yet endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election, citing current issues such as the open Southern border and war in the Middle East. Meanwhile, aid convoys have been making their way into Gaza and the U.S. has increased its military presence in the Middle East to help defend Israel. Humanitarian groups have applauded the aid, but say it falls short of what is needed to help civilians on the ground.

Former USC Gynecologist Dr. George Tyndall Found Dead at Home After Being Accused of Sexual Misconduct by 400+ Patients

Dr. George Tyndall, a former USC gynecologist accused of sexual misconduct by more than 400 female patients, was found dead Wednesday at his Los Angeles home. He was awaiting trial on 35 criminal counts of sexual misconduct between 2009 and 2016, and his attorneys believe he died of natural causes. USC has since apologized for its handling of the allegations against Tyndall and has paid out more than $1 billion to settle lawsuits filed by former patients.
