Trump cannot rely on a presidential pardon to escape punishment as the case is being handled by state prosecutors.

On Monday afternoon in Jacksonville, Florida, a 9-year-old child fatally shot a 6-year-old in the head. Data from Everytown for Gun Safety shows that there have been at least 240 unintentional shootings by children in the U.S. this year, resulting in 88 deaths and 160 injuries. The victim in this case was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, but was ultimately pronounced dead.

Singer-songwriter Sixto Rodriguez, referred to as "the greatest protest singer and songwriter that most people never heard of" in a 2013 Associated Press story, died Tuesday in Detroit. Supreme Court Temporarily Pauses Biden Administration’s Efforts to Regulate Ghost Guns

The Supreme Court has granted a temporary pause to the Biden administration's efforts to regulate so-called ghost guns, which are firearm-making kits available online. The regulations require background checks and registration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and are intended to protect public safety. FBI and AFP Joint Operation Leads to Arrests of 100 Suspects in International Pedophile Ring Investigation

A joint operation between the FBI and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has resulted in the arrest of almost 100 people in the US and Australia on child sexual abuse allegations.
