Ryan Seacrest has announced his departure from the popular talk show "Live with Kelly and Ryan" and will be replaced by Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos. Seacrest expressed his gratitude for the time he spent with Ripa and thanked her for the laughter they shared. The show will be renamed "Live with Kelly and Mark" and Seacrest will transition out in the spring to shoot for the 21st season of "American Idol" in Los Angeles.

Michigan State Police have confirmed that the bodies found in an abandoned apartment building in the Detroit area on Thursday are those of three missing aspiring rappers. Lt. Mike Shaw of the Michigan State Police said human remains were found in the basement of the apartment complex in Highland Park and the family of one of the missing men, 21-year-old Demarco Bennett, was notified of the discovery. The cause of death is still under investigation and authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to contact them.
