British police have launched an investigation into allegations of sexual offenses against comedian Russell Brand, which he denies. The investigation was prompted by a joint investigation from the Times of London, The Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches, which included four women accusing Brand of sexual assault or rape. Brand has expressed his sadness at the allegations and is cooperating with the police, as well as seeking the support of a therapist.
