On Saturday, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a 911 call regarding a “water emergency” at the home of actor Matthew Perry in Pacific Palisades. When first responders arrived, Perry was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi with no obvious signs of trauma. The Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the circumstances surrounding Perry’s death, and his publicist has requested privacy in this time of great mourning.

Anaheim police responded to a report of a shooting on Thursday night, where they found 65-year-old Sheryl Ferguson suffering from at least one gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene. 72-year-old Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson was arrested at the residence and booked into the Anaheim Police Department Detention Facility on suspicion of killing his wife. The Orange County Superior Court released a statement expressing their condolences and cooperation with the police investigation.
