U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged Israel and the Palestinians to exercise restraint and de-escalate tensions following a deadly attack in East Jerusalem. In response to the attack, Israeli forces shot and killed a 26-year-old Palestinian man in the West Bank. Blinken is visiting the region to help bring about a ceasefire and a return to negotiations, as well as to help the Palestinians build a better future.
