Supreme Court Rules 8-1 in Favor of Employer in Union Strike Dispute, Setting Precedent for Future Labor Disputes

The U.S. Supreme Court issued an 8-1 decision Thursday siding with an employer in a dispute with a union over a strike, ruling that federal law does not preempt a lawsuit the employer filed against the union in state court.
