US and Western-Made Technology Found in Iranian Drone Downed in Ukraine

A new assessment by Ukrainian intelligence has revealed that components made by more than a dozen US and Western companies were found inside a single Iranian drone downed in Ukraine last fall. This discovery highlights the challenge facing the Biden administration, which has vowed to shut down Iran’s production of drones that Russia is launching into Ukraine. These components ranged from smaller equipment like semiconductors and GPS modules to larger parts like engines.

45 Inches of Snow Falls in Sierra, Widespread Snowfall Expected Across Rockies and Plains, Flooding and Power Outages Reported

Heavy snowfall over the weekend in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and northern Plains caused multiple water rescues, road closures, and power outages, resulting in the deaths of at least two people. In Sacramento County, emergency crews responded to fallen trees and disabled vehicles in the flood waters, while US Highway 101 was closed in South San Francisco due to flooding and high tides. More wet weather is expected in the West this week from storms brewing in the Gulf of Alaska.
