Cindy Williams, best known for her role in the iconic ABC sitcom "Laverne & Shirley," has passed away at the age of 75. Judge McBurney to Hear Arguments Over Release of Grand Jury Report on Trump’s Election Subversion Efforts

Judge McBurney will hear arguments on Tuesday over the release of a grand jury report into former President Donald Trump's efforts to subvert the 2020 election result in Georgia. The grand jury, which was made up of 23 Georgians and three alternates, has submitted its report to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Judge McBurney, but it remains under seal. Judge McBurney will decide whether to release the report to the public, though it is unclear when a decision will be made.

95th Academy Awards Nominations Announced, with ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ Leading the Pack

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its list of nominees for the upcoming 95th Oscars on Tuesday, with “Everything Everywhere All At Once” leading the pack with 11 nominations. Previous Oscar winner Riz Ahmed and star of the Oscar-winning film “Get Out” Allison Williams, announced this year’s contenders during a live broadcast Tuesday morning. Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu were both nominated for best actress in a supporting role, however the Academy failed to nominate a single woman for best director. The 2023 awards season continues with Tuesday’s 95th Academy Awards nominees rollout, with the ceremony set to take place on April 25th.
