Hero Disarms Gunman at Alhambra Dance Hall, Saving Lives During Nearby Shooting Rampage

Brandon Tsay, a 26-year-old man, bravely disarmed a gunman who had opened fire at a nearby Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park, California, killing 10 people and injuring 10 others. Tsay heard the sound of metal in the lobby of a dance hall and realized he needed to disarm the man or else everyone in the building would have been killed. He managed to take the gun away from the man in a tussle captured on video, and the Monterey Park shooter is now in police custody.

Tsay was able to successfully wrestle away the weapon and prevent any further casualties, and is being celebrated as a hero for his brave actions.
