Six people are dead and one suspect is in custody following a series of shootings in the small town of Arkabutla, Mississippi on Friday. The first shooting occurred inside a store on Arkabutla Road and four more victims were found after the suspect was arrested. The investigation is ongoing and authorities have not yet released the names of the victims or the suspect.

As a result, PSSI was fined the maximum civil penalty of $1.5 million. The DOL has urged employers to ensure minors are not employed in hazardous occupations and has encouraged parents and guardians to be aware of their children’s work activities.

Five former Memphis, Tennessee police officers have pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in connection to the death of Tyre Nichols.
