Brooks Robinson, an 18-time All-Star and legendary third baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, has passed away at the age of 83. He was signed by the Orioles in 1955 and went on to become one of the most decorated players in the history of the game, winning 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards and making 18 All-Star appearances. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983 and his number 5 jersey was retired by the Orioles in 1977.
