R. Kelly Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Child Pornography and Enticement of Minors for Sex

R&B singer R. Kelly was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Thursday for his convictions of child pornography and the enticement of minors for sex. U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber decided that Kelly should serve one year in prison following his New York sentence for 2021 racketeering and sex trafficking convictions. Kelly is currently in federal custody and his lawyers plan to appeal the convictions.

V&A to Open David Bowie Center for the Study of Performing Arts in 2025, Featuring 80,000 Items from the Late Singer’s Career.

The Victoria & Albert Museum is set to open the David Bowie Center for the Study of Performing Arts in 2025, featuring over 80,000 items from the late singer's career. The archive will include 70,000 images, personal letters, sheet music, costumes, instruments, awards and other memorabilia, as well as handwritten lyrics to iconic Bowie songs. The items were acquired from Bowie’s estate and will be available for public viewing.

Eric R. Holder, Jr. Sentenced to 60 Years to Life in Prison for Fatal Shooting of Nipsey Hussle

Eric R. Holder, Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for the fatal shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle in March 2019. The judge took into consideration two bystanders who were wounded in the shooting, as well as a letter from Holder's father, before deciding on the maximum sentence. Holder did not react when the sentence was read and had previously pushed for a reduced conviction.

Alec Baldwin’s Firearm Enhancement Charge Dropped in Involuntary Manslaughter Case
