Nikki Haley Files Primary Paperwork in New Hampshire as Undeclared Voters Could Help Determine the Fate of the Presidential Election.

Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has become the latest high profile Republican presidential candidate to file primary paperwork in New Hampshire. The state opened its presidential primary filing period on October 27th and will remain open until the end of the month.

Recent polls have shown President Donald Trump with a commanding lead over his nearest competition. The latest NBC News/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll of Iowa found that 54% of likely GOP caucusgoers said Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds’ endorsement of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis didn’t matter to their vote choices.

The poll also found that Republican politicians and organizations opposed to former President Donald Trump have delivered high-profile endorsements of other candidates over the past month in efforts to change the race for the GOP presidential nomination. However, these endorsements have not moved the needle politically in Iowa.

In six weeks, some 300,000 undeclared voters in New Hampshire could help determine whether the nation has to keep worrying about an autocrat winning the presidency next November. These voters are not affiliated with either major party, often don’t make up their minds until the last minute, and are difficult to poll.

The New Hampshire presidential primary filing period will remain open until the end of October. It remains to be seen how the undeclared voters will affect the race for the GOP presidential nomination.
