The U.S. Department of Transportation Office of the Inspector General said in a news release Tuesday that Jonathan J. Dunn was indicted on Oct. 18 for interfering with the crew of a commercial airline flight.

The incident occurred on an Aug. 22, 2022, flight, the Department of Transportation’s inspector general’s office said in a news release. However, the airline and the flight’s origin and destination were not specified.

According to court documents obtained by CBS News, Dunn allegedly told the captain they would be shot multiple times if the captain diverted the flight.
