The U.S. Justice Department has charged four Russian nationals with war crimes in connection with the invasion of Ukraine, including unlawful confinement, torture and inhuman treatment, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit war crimes. The defendants have been identified and the victim is an American, but no additional information has been released. The case is yet to go to trial and the potential penalties for the defendants are unknown.

Biden Jokes About Taylor Swift and Britney Spears at Annual Turkey Pardoning Ceremony

President Joe Biden celebrated his 81st birthday on Monday by pardoning two turkeys, Liberty and Bell, in the annual Thanksgiving tradition. During the ceremony, Biden made a joke about the difficulty of getting tickets to a Taylor Swift or Britney Spears concert, but appeared to confuse the two pop stars. The turkeys had to travel over 1,000 miles to Washington D.C. to win their amnesty, and will now be sent to Virginia Tech's "Gobblers Rest" exhibit to live out the rest of their days.
