Reps. Goldman and Torres Urge GOP Leaders to Cooperate with Investigations into Rep. George Santos’ Fabricated Résumé

Two Democratic lawmakers from New York have called on GOP leaders to cooperate with investigations into freshman Rep. George Santos, who admitted to fabricating parts of his résumé. The House Committee on Ethics is currently investigating the matter, and Reps. Goldman and Torres have asked the GOP leaders to proactively cooperate with the investigation and inform the public of their knowledge of Mr. Santos' deceit. The outcome of the investigation remains to be seen.
