Former Georgia Police Officer Charged with Felony Murder and Kidnapping in Death of 16-Year-Old Susana Morales

Gwinnett County Police Arrest and Fire Officer in Connection with Susana Morales’ Death

Gwinnett County Police have arrested and fired Miles Bryant, 22, in connection with the death of 16-year-old Susana Morales, who went missing in July. Her last known location was Oak Loch Trace, and her remains were found in a wooded area northeast of Atlanta. Bryant is being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, and the police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Miles Bryant, a 22-year-old police officer from Doraville, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with falsely reporting a crime and concealing the death of Susana Morales, a 16-year-old girl who went missing in August 2020. Despite searches for the teen, police were unable to find any leads until last week when authorities discovered Morales' remains and arrested Bryant.
