Seven people are dead and one critically injured after a shooting in two locations near Half Moon Bay, California on Monday. San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus said the 67-year-old suspect is in custody, and the motive for the shootings is still unknown. The victims were found at a mushroom farm and another near a trucking facility, approximately two miles apart, and the eighth victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
