North Korea celebrated the 75th anniversary of its founding last week, with Kim Jong Un attending a photo session and dedicating floral baskets to past leaders. The purpose of the trip is unknown, but it is likely to be related to North Korea's diplomatic relations with Russia and could have implications for the region as a whole.
