Authorities in Colorado are investigating the discovery of three heavily decomposed bodies at a remote Rocky Mountains camp. The bodies were found on Monday by the Gunnison County Sheriff's Office after a hiker reported the discovery of one of the bodies late Sunday. Two of the bodies were found inside a small, zipped-up tent and the other was outside in the camp. The Sheriff's Office is now working to identify the bodies and determine the cause of death.

Donald Santini, 65, has been arrested in connection with the 1984 killing of a woman in Florida. He was arrested earlier this month in California and has since been returned to Florida to face charges. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has stated that the arrest brings closure to a long-standing cold case and provides justice for the victim and her family. Santini is currently being held in the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
Five people, including an 8-year-old child, were tragically killed in a shooting at a home in Cleveland, Texas on Friday night. The San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office is searching for the suspect, believed to be about 10-12 miles away from the scene. Three additional victims were taken to the hospital, while two others were evaluated on scene and released.
Two inmates, John M. Garza and Arley V. Nemo, escaped from a Newport News, Virginia jail Monday night by using primitive-made tools constructed from a toothbrush and metal object. The two were found at an IHOP restaurant early Tuesday morning and taken back into custody without incident. The Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation and the two inmates will face additional charges.
A 13-year-old girl reported missing in Dallas, Texas was found safe in an outbuilding in North Carolina after being enticed away from home by an adult man she met on a social media platform. The man, 34-year-old Jorge Ivan Santos Camacho, was arrested on child abduction, felonious restraint, statutory rape and other charges. The girl was found unharmed and has since been reunited with her family. The Davidson County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the incident and encourages parents to be aware of their children's online activity.
