After decades of investigation, authorities have finally arrested Duane "Keffe D" Davis in connection with the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jason Johansson and Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson announced the indictment to reporters, with Sheriff Kevin McMahill emphasizing the importance of the case to the police department. Davis is currently in custody and awaiting trial in Clark County District Court.

Remains of Missing Las Vegas Man Found After 22 Years at Lake Mead

The Clark County coroner's office has identified human remains found at Lake Mead in Nevada last summer as those of Claude Russell Pensinger, a 52-year-old man who went missing in 1998. 49 Years Later, Remains of Nevada Man Who Drowned in Lake Mead Identified by Coroner’s Office

A diver found a human bone near the shore of Lake Mead in October, prompting a search by a park dive team that uncovered more. DNA analysis was used to identify the remains as belonging to Donald Smith, a Las Vegas resident who reportedly drowned in April 1974. The Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner confirmed the remains and ruled the death an accident, providing closure to Smith's family and friends after nearly five decades.

Norfolk Southern Cargo Train Derails in Springfield, Ohio, Causing Power Outages and Raising Safety Concerns

Residents of Springfield, Ohio were asked to shelter in place on Saturday after a Norfolk Southern cargo train derailed, downing large high tension power lines and knocking out power to some homes. Firefighters and the county hazmat team responded to the scene and officials said there was no indication of any injuries or risk to public health. Norfolk Southern is currently investigating the cause of the derailment and restoring power to affected homes.
