Hunter Biden has filed a lawsuit against Garrett Ziegler, a former Trump White House aide, and 10 other unidentified people for allegedly violating state and federal data laws. The lawsuit claims that Ziegler operated a website dedicated to exposing elements of Hunter Biden's data, and seeks damages and an injunction to prevent further access, as well as destruction of any data obtained.

Trevor Daniel Jacob, a YouTuber pilot, has pleaded guilty to deliberately crashing his single-engine airplane in a California national forest in order to boost views for a sponsorship deal. He misled investigators about the location of the wreck and has agreed to promote a wallet in a YouTube video as part of the plea agreement. Jacob faces up to 20 years in federal prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on August 17, 2021.
Search teams have been combing through a Central California creek for the past three days in search of 5-year-old Kyle Doan, who was swept away by floodwaters on Monday. Severe weather conditions have been hampering the search, with National Guard and search teams searching "bank to bank" and dive teams searching below the surface of the water. The Bay Area and Central Coast have been particularly hard hit by the storms, with more storms expected to bring unprecedented amounts of precipitation in the coming days.
